My daughter Rosalind came into our lives when she was three and a half years old. I don't have any baby pictures of her, or cute anecdotes about when she was a toddler. But I've had the privilege of watching her grow into an amazing young woman - creative and conscientious and kind.
As she appears in these blog essays, the character "Rosalind" doesn't draw attention to herself. Instead, she's the one with the grit, and the pithy observations:
